I know I'm normally pretty anti-exclusive, but with the buzz around @Warcraft Forever being at a massive high right now, if @xbox surprise announced a console port only on their platform for the 25th anniversary in November (and 22nd anniversary of WoW) that could be the killer app they've been looking for for so long

Halo is easily my favorite gaming franchise (Zelda is a very close second) and to be honest, this news has me excited for the franchises future. I haven't necessarily HATED anything 343/Halo Studios put out, but it's clear that the time there wasn't the best fit for the universe.
While not every COD game has been stellar (I still have no interest in trying to go back to BO7s campaign with its multiplayer focus) many of the single player campaigns we've seen since the MW reboot have been action packed spectacles with decent story beats. If we can get that in Halo, maybe we can start to talk about it being a monster franchise again

Just a reminder to engage with ANY news you see online with a healthy amount of skepticism and find the primary source. This outlet, with over 230K followers, posted a rumor about XBOX that's been debunked for weeks. They did not provide an article or even a source, yet 230K people find this account interesting enough to follow...

And despite my lack of being a journalist of any ilk, here is a PRIMARY SOURCE debunking this rumor. Man, research is hard...especially in the age of AI
This is not correct:
• In the interview, I am asked about a comment I made before being hired at XBOX, then state that I was only 10 days into the role, and that I am not stating the company's plans or beliefs
• What I do say is that ads should be used to offer more affordable alternatives alongside today's ad-free experiences, in the hopes more could play as a result. Similar to how Netflix and Disney+ have ad-tiers with all the same content, but at half the price or so
• At no point do I even mention in-game ads
(I personally believe interrupting the gameplay experience would be bad)

Cyber insurance applications aren't asking "do you have antivirus" anymore. MFA, EDR, tested backups, documented training. If you can't prove it, expect higher premiums or declined coverage.

One phishing click. Attacker sits quiet in the inbox for weeks. Then inserts fake payment instructions into a real client conversation. Client trusts it because it looks like your agency. That's not just a cyber problem, that's an E&O claim.

The ransom demand isn't the expensive part. The 2-3 weeks of downtime rebuilding your systems after is. If your agency doesn't have a tested recovery plan, you're not backed up, you're just hoping.

Shadow IT is a massive problem in the Cybersecurity world. Many small business owners have no clue how many servers contain their customers PII and could be breached at any moment, causing their business to lose money and possibly even take a hit to their reputation. If you have a small business, or know someone that does, please give this a watch and share. It's less than 5 minutes and could bring awareness to something that could lead to a very expensive incident
