Despite the cataclysm naturally being a part of almost every Khaenriahns story, I can't recall a single time a Khaenriahns expressed their sympathies for a non-Khaenriahn victim of the cataclysm, despite the fact that it wrought havoc on all the nations of Teyvat. With the exception of the GOAT, the Best to Ever Do It, Capitano.
So many people died, gods and humans, all to make sure the Abyss doesnt destroy the rest of Teyvat. Egeria, Rukkhadevata, Makoto, The Belyi Tsar, Makoto, The Six Heroes of Natlan, Bosacius, Kistune Saiguu, The Viridescent Venerer, and so many civillian casualties. But talk to a Khaenriahn
The cataclysm was a result of Khaenriahs hubris and paranoia, and greed ot get their hands on a power they could use to go to war with the other nations. And while the Sinners are the direct ones at fault, all of Khaenriah was involved in the centuries of research and compliance with mad kings like Irmin that allowed the Sinners to get their hand on said abyssal power.
But the characters dont ever seem to so much as care to acknowledge the pain and suffering that was caused by it, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when they act like the Cataclysm was something caused by Celestia and meant exclusively to make Khaenriahns alone suffer
