Big news for Colorado’s learners and workforce. Pueblo Community College and CCCS have been selected for a $10.77 million U.S. Department of Labor Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grant supporting Colorado Skills Forward.
Together with Colorado Mountain College and Emily Griffith Technical College, all 13 CCCS colleges will help build a more connected statewide talent ecosystem — giving learners greater ownership and portability of their skills and credentials throughout their careers.

What an incredible day at @CNCC_Spartans. State Board members, including Trustee Allison, Representative Lukens, and Senator Roberts, met with students, faculty, and staff. The energy on campus was amazing. Their visit showed their commitment to making sure CNCC’s needs are heard and prioritized at the state capitol.

The Youth Mental Health Corps is providing behavioral health support and training in CO schools. Proud that CCCS provides the credentials to help these "near-peer" navigators enter the behavioral health field.
In the first year of the Youth Mental Health Corps (YMHC), 104 Colorado YMHC members earned 87 behavioral health certifications through a partnership with the Colorado Community College System!
