最近这个果蝇大脑的各种测试很火,有大佬知道这个的具体的部署步骤是什么吗?
UPDATE: the dead fly's brain just got its wings back
A few weeks ago its reconstructed connectome was steering a quadruped robot over Wi-Fi. Now it's flying an FPV drone.
Unfortunately, this could be used for military purposes. I doubt that the military forces of various countries haven't already put this to use.
I called it KillFly
I fed live sensor input into the simulation - camera view, roll, bank, forward lean, cruise height. The brain's output goes straight to the stick commands.
No pilot. No manual correction. Just a dead insect's nervous system deciding how to keep a drone in the air.
It's already dodging obstacles on its own.
It's already holding a stable low altitude without me touching a single control.
The loop I wanted to close is closed. Sensors feed the brain. The brain flies the drone. The drone feeds the brain again.
Here's the part that's messing with me: this thing has never seen a tree, a wall, or the sky. It only ever knew a lab, a slide, a scanner. And it's already flying better than I did on my first day with a controller.
I don't know if that makes it smarter than a fly ever was, or just smarter than me.
