Tomorrow Race 5 at Saratoga Naughty Nancy makes her racing debut. I stopped by the barn to wish her luck and a safe trip before jumping on a plane to Bloomington. I will be watching from afar. Bills don’t pay themselves (yes that’s her as a baby). #gogogreys

Here here! My non new york silks are way better than my Ny silks which sucks cause Saratoga is my home base.
The @jockeyclub requires New York to operate under its own set of rules for racing silks, while owners racing in other states are basically free to design their silks as they wish.
In New York, owners face multiple restrictions - including being limited to just three letters on their silks.
My guess is these rules date back to an ancient era of regulation and control that serves no real purpose today. It’s time for The Jockey Club to let go of this power and allow NYRA to give owners the same freedom to design their silks that they have everywhere else.
When Dave Portnoy (@stoolpresidente) redesigned his silks for @gogogreys, we actually had to make TWO different sets - one for New York and one for everywhere else.
It’s 2026. This is ridiculous.
This seems like a simple fix. Let’s fix it for everyone.
