Wikizilla is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Japanese stuntman and suit actor Kazuhiro Yoshida on September 23 at the age of 56. He worked as a stuntman in multiple tokusatsu films during the 1990s and portrayed both Gigan and Hedorah in 「Godzilla Final Wars」 (2004).

In 「Godzilla Final Wars」 (2004), the Xiliens claim to have come to save Earth from a collision with a runaway planet called Gorath. Gorath was previously the name of a runaway black dwarf star on a collision course with Earth in the 1962 Toho film of the same name.

In 「Final Wars」, Gorath is eventually revealed as a hologram that is part of the Xiliens' ruse to infiltrate and conquer humanity. However, supplementary sources state that the meteorite which serves as Monster X's vessel later in the film is actually the real Gorath.

In 「Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris」 (1999), the demonic version of Gamera that appears in Ayana Hirasaka's nightmares is called "Trauma Gamera" and was depicted by a modified suit from the prior film. Akira Ohashi, who played Iris in 「G3」 and Gamera in 「G2」, wore the suit.

During initial story development for 「The Mysterians」 (1957), Moguera was envisioned as an organic creature rather than a robot. Concept art and storyboards depict it as a mole-like creature with a drill-shaped nose and sawblade-shaped spikes on its back.

In 「Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah」 (1991), King Ghidorah's heads were redesigned to resemble those of Western dragons in contrast to the Showa era where they were based on those of Eastern dragons. The crescent-shaped horns were removed as were the manes of hair.

The crescent-shaped horns would later be restored to King Ghidorah's heads in both 「Rebirth of Mothra 3」 (1998) and 「Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack」 (2001), though the manes of hair were still absent.
