Hitters: the fastest way to learn a new skill is to put a consequence behind each swing. Example: Say you're working on driving the ball the other way. Every swing has to opposite field. Miss your target? The round is over. The round ends?! That means fewer reps? Sounds counterproductive.. But it's way more productive. When there is a consequence behind each swing you lock in on every pitch. With way more purpose, intent and attention to detail. (that sounds productive right? right) 50 swings where a miss costs you something will teach you more than 100 where nothing's on the line. Try it, trust me.
