I remember when a guy asked me to be his girlfriend. He really wanted me, but I was still in school, young, and not ready for a relationship, so I told him I needed time. Not long after, he moved on to my friend. The same friend I had told about him, who lived on the same street as me. When I eventually saw them going out together, I didn’t confront anyone. I stopped talking to her and blocked him.
I still find it strange how someone can claim to want you so badly, then turn around and pursue your friend.
