youtu.be/noSXUmwiF9M?si=RZ0F… Sang this at Kareoke at a resort on the Island. Historians and students wasted on booze. Listen intently to the first lyrics and you understand my humor. Haha!

If anyone is surprised by the mass looting taking place across France, don't be. The Left believes that "property is theft" and you therefore cannot push a razor-blade between socialism and robbery.

That is pretty cool. I'm not good at cook, but i enjoy watching stuff about culinary. I follow some food channels on YT. Like i said about the Polish immigration in the South of Brazil. That means we also have Perogies here sometimes, but we call Perogi.

I can understand having read Acts recently and Romans why the elder brothers of God's family dont want us adopted brothers to actually read the Bible ourselves! Hahaha. But some will join us as one big family . Brothers in Christ Jesus our Lord from Nazareth. Soon. Soon .

Us Gentiles are bros through the blood of Christ Jesus and the Holy spirit. Our elder brothers, some , the OG Israelite will turn to The Way ! Not " Israelis " Isrealites. We look forward to when we truly are one family and friends through Christ Jesus our savior and teacher!

Never tell a woman to go back to the kitchen. That is your worse mistake... ... Instead, wait a while. Absolutely no woman can do nothing for long. They eventually get back to their natural habitat to do any chore.

The scene wasn't so different 20 years ago
This beautiful film is around 100 years old. It shows France’s elegant society in the 1920s, capturing the lively boulevards, cafés, and historic landmarks in lovely detail.

On this day in 1483 Tomas de Torquemada was appointed the Spanish Inquisitor. Here is an excerpt from The Companion to British History, which I edit: The Spanish Inquisition had special features. Set up in 1479 by Ferdinand and Isabella with Papal approval, it was in fact, if not in theory, a state department staffed by ecclesiastics with oversight of Marranos (Jewish converts) and Moriscos (Moorish converts). Later its powers were used against protestants. Its head was the Grand Inquisitor who, from 1483, appointed his own councillors only after consultation with the Crown. The Grand Inquisitor (1479-98) Torquemada, has passed into folk mythology. It was established in Mexico and Peru against strong local church opposition only in 1570 and on the Spanish Main as late as 1610; native Indians were always exempt from its jurisdiction. It was abolished in Spain by Joseph Bonaparte in 1808, reintroduced in 1814 and finally abolished in 1820. In America it simply faded away. In 1908 it was renamed the Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office, in 1965 for the Doctrine of the Faith. From 1981- 2005 its Prefect was Cardinal Ratzinger, subs Benedict XVI. Propaganda has much inflated the Inquisition’s severity. Thousands of witches were burned at behest of European, especially Protestant civil courts over the centuries compared to 100 condemned by the Inquisition. In its 350 years, the Spanish Inquisition held no more than 2000 autos-da-fé, of which fewer than 100 were for Protestants. See AUTO-DA-FE DE HAERETICO COMBURENDO

Today is the feast of that self-effacing saint, Luke the Evangelist. He wrote the Third Gospel, and the Acts of the Apostles. I subscribe to the view that he is also the author of the Letter to the Hebrews; not only that but he may well have had some influence on St Paul's writings. All in all, the inspired author of perhaps 40% of the New Testament, and yet because of his authorial modesty we know little about him. For many years I have been trying to construct a biography of him, because I believe that, with care and a little perception, one can in fact detect more about Luke the man than is commonly supposed.
