This is Trump attempting to put women ‘in their place’ reviving a version of the 1933 law called Section 213 which required the fed govt, in times of economic hardship, to fire or lay off one member of a marital partnership. Guess who that fell to 80% of the time? Women of course! Women comprise 50.9% of the U.S. population…more than half. And yet, an eternal status quo exists wherein women are put down, and discriminated against and it is somehow accepted. It took us until 1974! to finally gain the legal right to open credit cards, loans, and bank accounts in our own name without a male co-signer!
