Just The Beginning. I’m excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Western Oklahoma State College. First, I want to thank my parents for everything they’ve sacrificed and done to help me get to this point. From playing catch in the front yard to the countless rides, expenses, and support, none of this would be possible without you. Thank you to all my coaches at Slammers and Grandview for pushing me and helping me grow both on and off the field. Special thanks to Mike Miller, Mike Fiscus, Eric Moberley, Conner Bitzer, Clint Zavaras, and Mark Holzemeyer. I also want to thank Coach Johnson and the entire Western Oklahoma State coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. I also want to thank my advisor, Eli Paton, for all the work he put in by calling and texting coaches to help me get looks and find this opportunity. Well well well… I guess real baseball matters again… and it wins. Don’t strike out. Get the ball in play. Hustle, steal bases, throw strikes, compete. Yea, bombs are good… but so are doubles, singles, bunt for hits, moving runners … pressure on defense. Why has it taken this long to figure it out! That’s what pisses me off. Winning Baseball ….. well it wins! At every level.
