1/20 PROVING THAT BITCOIN IS A LIQUIDITY DECOY WITH SIMPLE DIFF EQUATIONS. “HODL” on to your socks. (a bit technical) ALSO The Fed is semi-lying, in fact, about “We would lose control of interest rates without IOR.” docs.google.com/document/d/1…

1/2 It is a low russian casualty to very low russian casualty strategy and that's commandable 🙏, asphyxiate the leaders and spare the people to the maximum extent. The economics of that strategy are quite interesting.
St. Petersburg Oil Terminal… One hell of a diesel-fueled headache for Trump.

4/4 Just don't make too much noise about it. You might attract an armada of bots calling you a “green degenerate” or some other bird names. Apparently, cheaper transportation and cleaner air is a threat to "freedom". A "not-AI" bot said they really meant tyranny🙃

$Oil for ground transportation is obsolete. 45% $Oil is for ground transportation and it is useless. (not competitive, new cars price tags are plunging, cost per mile was already far far lower) Besides EVs with bi-directional inverters which allow to buy electricity at through and discharge at peak via software address a large portion of the system costs of renewables (BESS and grid) and make the power prices plunge. $Oil demand for petrochemicals is fine though.
So, here's a fascinating stat. Germany had record BEV sales in Q2 2026 and has the third largest EV fleet in the world that can save it 16 million barrels of oil annually... ...all that at just 8.3 TWh of annual electricity consumption, which is 1.6% of Germany's demand!

Those damn street protestors in Paris ... oops.
A rough morning in Russia's St. Petersburg, as Ukraine has poured all manner of hell onto the unlucky city, targeting Russia's most important petroleum export terminal on the Baltic Sea, and the region's largest data center and an Ozon logistics facility. A massive data center owned by the company VK, St. Petersburg oil terminal and an Ozon logistics facility are all currently engulfed in the hellish flames of Karmic retribution. Additionally, the Vostochnaya electrical substation was targeted. Fires, power outages and internet disruptions have been reported across the region. Russian authorities claim to have intercepted 126 drones. Traffic at Pulkovo International Airport is shut down, while emergency crews have responded to additional fires in multiple districts.

🔥🔥🔥 Budanov: “Now we’re going to fucking burn every Russian oil refinery and port to the fucking ground. Every last one!”
The day before yesterday, during negotiations in the United States, an incident reportedly took place that left the American delegation literally speechless. When the Ukrainian representatives learned that sanctions against Putin were being lifted and that Washington was demanding an end to strikes on Russian oil refineries, Budanov allegedly responded in extremely harsh terms. At the very end of the meeting, when the participants had already risen from the table and were heading toward the exit, he threw these words straight in the Americans’ faces: “Now we’re going to fucking burn every Russian oil refinery and port to the fucking ground. Every last one!” According to reports, the Americans were so stunned by what they heard that they couldn't find anything to say in response. No objections, no threats, no usual diplomatic language. Just silence. Washington received an unmistakable message: Ukraine has no intention of asking permission to defend itself against Russian aggression.

When NIIC is negative and declining (delta NIIC < 0), the private sector accumulates fewer net financial aclaims than the government deficit would imply. So part of the "fiscal stimulus" that appears on the income statement is matched by a deterioration in external position rather than by a strengthening of the domestic private balance sheet. TADA!

ICE vehicles in terminal decline in the Netherlands. Already completely dead in Norway, practically the same in Danmark Spreading to other countries in Europe. Ramp the diesel price to the moon !!!!
The Netherlands are a great example for the ICE → BEV transition. ICE vehicles in terminal decline. Hybrids + plug-in hybrids briefly feature, but ultimately hit relatively low market share limits. In the end, pure battery electric vehicles succeed as the dominant drivetrain.

Deficit = Fiscal stimulus. Massive deficit = Massive fiscal stimulus. Cut the fiscal stimulus (deficit) and watch the Dorian Gray GDP picture.
How is it possible that a economy which is doing 7-8% nominal GDP and have one of the lowest unemployment in history will be seeing increase in deficit by 10%.
