It appears that, along with Convoy: - AlphaPool has stated they will offer DATUM - Lazarus offers DATUM - Bitcoin Xor offers DATUM - PyBlock offers DATUM ... Even Convoy offers stratum fail-over. Less than 10 days in. The pools are *all* in support of decentralization.

Looking better than last night. A lot of the hash has migrated to Lazarus who have DATUM support and are motivated to push their miners to use it.

Update: this situation is not resolved and I do not know of a workable solution for it. Neither AlphaPool nor its miners seem concerned about the position they're in, that they said they would resolve. Having the pool break itself up into proxies as many have suggested is not a real solution. That "solution" may fly with Antpool & friends but if we don't hold ourselves to a higher standard than that then the motivation for forking is largely eliminated. Things may improve on their own, but this is the way it stands for now -

Update: @TwhitNub101 has claimed to be cutting miners' connections now, and his hashrate appears to be dropping. Update on the Bitcoin BLAKE2b Mining store: The network is currently dealing with opportunistic Siacoin miners directing hash through centralized Sv1 pools, contributing to an ongoing 51% attack threat. The developer community is discussing possible mitigations, ranging from network-level changes such as extending coinbase maturity to measures that could require firmware modifications to some mining hardware. It is also possible that no additional changes will be necessary if the pools adequately self-regulate. I promised to test and sell hardware that is fully compatible with the XBT network. I can’t in good conscience open the store and sell miners that may soon require modification to remain compatible. Because of that, I’m delaying the store launch until there is enough certainty around the network’s path forward for me to properly test and stand behind the mining hardware I sell. I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. I’ll share an update as soon as I have solid information.

It's *not* an inside job. Andy wasn't running a Ponzi Scheme and Blockstream absolutely did *not* pull off a fake hack, stealing their own money and giving it back to themselves minus the money they needed (~$50m or so) to keep the game of musical chairs going.
