Dr. Marion Mass leads a bipartisan push in Washington to rein in PBMs, elevate independent clinicians, and restore transparency to drug pricing as the Pharmacists Fight Back Act is introduced at the U.S. Capitol. doctorsonsocialmedia.com/dr-… This is a great article highlighting @mass_marion's support for the Pharmacist Fight Back Act. Marrion has been a consistent and powerful voice in the movement to reform PBMs and protect our independent pharmacists. She is also driven by the need to help patients afford medications. I am honored to call @mass_marion a friend! @BrandiChane @Greg_Reybold @A_Ciaccia @angrydadwi @HokiePharmacist @DutchRojas

TN's Fair Rx Act is the talk of the pharmacy world. 📢 It seperates PBM & pharmacy ownership - ending the "Price Maker v. Price Taker" conflict that fuels self-dealing. Grateful to @TNPharmacists CEO @pudlo for joining us to break down the policy & politics. 🎙️👇
Tennessee lawmakers have passed a major pharmacy reform bill aimed at pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs, by barring companies from owning both a PBM and a pharmacy. The legislation is widely seen as targeting CVS Health, which owns Caremark and operates pharmacies across the state. Supporters say the bill is designed to curb vertical integration, restore fair competition, and protect independent pharmacies from reimbursement practices they view as harmful to patient access and community pharmacy survival. CVS has pushed back hard, warning that the new law could force it to shut down its 134 Tennessee pharmacy locations and trigger a legal challenge. The company argues the measure would reduce access for patients and does not directly address broader PBM issues like pricing or formularies. This Tennessee fight reflects a larger national battle over PBM reform, pharmacy ownership, market power, and the future of prescription drug access. Listen on Apple: vist.ly/42gd6

It was an honor to welcome @RepJamesComer to the stage at the @_APCI conference. Community pharmacy is lucky to have a champion like him fighting in D.C. Big PBMs would like to close the book on PBM reform but it's only just begun. #pharmacistsfightbackact
We are pleased to have U.S. Rep. James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, discussing #PBMReform efforts in Congress with APCI members this afternoon. #APCI2026

How about a better federal watchdog than the one y’all hire with our tax 💰. Optum is a United Subsidiary and United is being investigated for fraud.
With BILLIONS of tax dollars lost to fraud in Minnesota, we need a new federal watchdog to track EVERY PENNY of tax money spent on these programs. I’m introducing legislation to create an inspector general to trace every cent of taxpayer money and stop the fraud

Grateful to @RepAuchincloss for reintroducing the Pharmacists Fight Back Act. Large PBMs have a stranglehold on fed plans and he continues to show he is willing to fight big fights on behalf of patients, taxpayers, and providers. #6609 & 6610
Americans want lower prices & a fair shot for small businesses. This bill delivers both. With support from the most progressive to most conservative Members, Pharmacists Fight Back will lower prescription prices & put independent pharmacists on a level playing field they deserve.

Powerful words from @RepJamesComer who is coleading the Pharmacists Fight Back Act. Thank you Chairman Comer for fighting to end unfair PBM practices. Independent pharmacies and their patients are ready to fight with you! #HR 6609 & 6610.
🚨Congress is putting Pharmacy Benefit Managers on notice: their era of taking advantage of Americans is ending. Predatory tactics by PBMs have caused drug prices to soar & our pharmacies to suffer. I introduced bipartisan legislation today to rein in PBMs & protect patients.
