This is the part of digital ownership that still sucks tbh
As Telegram-native collectibles grow into a real market, the UX around ownership and security has to grow with it
A few takeaways from the Magic Eden craziness.
1) Man @0xQuit is the hero this industry didn't even know it needed.
2) We are way too trusting of developers who mean well but are unregulated, unprotected by any legal system, and have limited safety rails. It's one of crypto's biggest flaws.
3) This issue in 2 is much worse in the AI age where no mistake goes unpunished.
4) Your WETH and USDC are vulnerable too, not just NFTs. Move your coins to fresh wallets that have never given permission to anything. And move WETH to ETH.
5) Unless you've done a full audit of your wallets recently, you probably have more vulnerabilities than you realize.
6) Most people get hit eventually. So have compassion towards people who get robbed as opposed to yelling about their poor opsec.

volume came down after day one, but it’s starting to find a base
for arc, this is still early. as more apps come online, liquidity gets more places to settle and users get more reasons to keep their activity onchain

So the first thing anyone learns is which walls are worth standing behind. Bricks come apart under fire, steel doesn't, and the gap you left open two minutes ago is the one they come through.

Your NFT tier does nothing in ranked.
Tier 10 and tier 1 drop into the same match on the same terms, and the wallet stops mattering the second the round starts. Holding a tank gets you a share of the tournament pools, never an edge in the fight.
We locked that rule before anything else was designed, and the duels and the official tournaments were built on top of it.
