Can you believe it’s been a year since this happened?😮 On this day, we said goodbye to our 50 showstopping sculptures as they went to their fur-ever homes at auction. With Helena Newman commanding the room, 57 lots went under the hammer before a packed live audience. The gavel dropped and gasps filled the room as £2 million was raised for The Grand Appeal, supporting Bristol Children’s Hospital.👏🎉 #GromitUnleashed3 #OTD

4… 3… 2… 1… ‘Thunderbirds Are Go!’ 🚀 On this day in 1965, the iconic Thunderbirds first aired on British television. This Shaun was inspired by the green Thunderbird 2 from the series. During the trail, the late David Graham, the show's voice artist, stopped by to say hi and take a photo. He voiced the legendary characters Parker, Brains and Gordon Tracy in the original TV series. 🥰 We think you’ll agree this Shaun is truly F.A.B!🤩 #ShauntheSheep

Today, our spotlight shines on Mister Hope and his Wallace creation, ‘Robin Hood: Prince of Cheese’. 🧀 From Buxton, Mister Hope set himself a tight deadline to complete this cheese-loving outlaw, yet still found time to document his trail experience in his illustrated ‘Wallace Diaries’. 📖 Here he shares his love of the claymation duo and the previous trails he’s enjoyed as a visitor, as well as how he overcame the awkwardness of painting such a large sculpture. Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is released in UK cinemas today and we can’t wait to see what Shaun and the flock get up to in their latest spooky feature-length adventure. 🎃🐏 Thanks to @Aardman, patient families from Bristol Children’s Hospital and fundraisers for @thegrandappeal were invited to a special family screening. 📽️ There were fun sets from the film, goody bags, ice cream and a woolly good day out for all.
