A thought I've been having. If you decide to build natively for both iOS and Android, eventually any team will try to come up with some shared abstractions to reduce complexity. Over a long enough time scale, don't you end up reinventing something like React Native?

I’ve wondered this too. It gets messier when you move past the vertical mobile app layouts for out of tree platforms. The level of abstraction seems like it needs to be well written requirements docs then the agents work from the ground up (?)

It might be that where we're going, there are no specs. Software is just a digital animal that's growing on its own and our job is primarily to make sure it's not doing bad stuff.
