Music meant more when finding it took effort. You waited for your song on the radio, saved money for the album, read the liner notes, and listened to the whole damn thing.

Dude, I spent so much time as a kid calling the radio station asking for a song and sitting there with my tape recorder waiting. My mother may still have my "DJ tapes"

We had scraps of paper that we wrote the lyrics on when the song came on!! If we caught it and recorded it on a cassette, we played and paused until we wrote all the words. Now, it's one google search away. Takes away all the fun...
