I think much of this is utter nonsense tbh. We don’t know how many solid store ships are with the group and how they are rotating around the battle group to top off, but it’ll be happening. Now first, two hundred days at sea straight is a fucking ball ache /1
The USS Abraham Lincoln is in its ninth month at sea — 208 days without a port visit, five straight months of combat operations. Moldy showers. No soap. Broken toilets. Crew members running on two days off in seven months.
No plan for how to rotate ships. No adequate supplies to defend the airspace around our own bases. And the strain on service members and their families is building week by week.
