Cancer prevention starts with awareness and action.
#HARCdata shows that 32% of Coachella Valley children ages 9+ have never received the HPV vaccine, despite its proven ability to help prevent cancers caused by HPV.
It is recommended HPV vaccination begins at ages 9-12.

New HARC data shows vaccine hesitancy is increasing in the Coachella Valley.
In 2025, only 67% of adults agreed that vaccines are necessary, down from 80% in 2022. Meanwhile, the percentage of adults who were uncertain increased from 17% to 26%.
