The Supreme Court upheld the law and denied the Trump Administration’s demands to rewrite the rules for absentee ballots just weeks before the election. As I have repeatedly said, the Postal Service does not administer elections and they have no legal authority to issue this rule. I will continue the fight to protect access to the ballot box.

Last year, the Trump Administration tried to illegally cut half of FEMA's workforce, putting Americans across the country at risk when disasters strike. Ranking Member @SenGaryPeters remains committed to ensuring FEMA — not DHS — manages its own workforce, as required by law.

The Trump Administration is systematically dismantling and politicizing our nation’s counterterrorism infrastructure. Ranking Member @SenGaryPeters is demanding records of these changes be kept so the American people can see how this Administration has put their safety at risk.

ICE must be held to the same standard as our local law enforcement. Unfortunately, DHS has not shared any corrective actions that have been taken related to the killings of Mr. Pretti and Ms. Good. Instead, we have seen the agency double down on violent tactics from Maine to Texas, resulting in more people being killed.

The Trump Administration’s disregard for PFAS contamination is a danger to our environment and public health. We need to better protect Americans from these toxic chemicals. I’m continuing to fight back against Trump’s EPA for ignoring PFAS safety in our country.

Millions of Americans have voted by mail, including President Trump. His fearmongering is an attempt to undermine the upcoming elections because he knows his policies have hurt Americans and he’s worried about the results.
