New Streamneeds update is live today. We’ve added a few things that should make the platform way more useful for both streamers and the businesses working with them. The biggest one is fully customisable wager race leaderboards. You can now track players and wagering, compare previous races, automatically pay out points or prizes, build incremental prize pools and even merge multiple streamers into one team leaderboard. We’ve also added full player history, Hype.bet integration and scheduled campaign reporting. That last one is something I’ve wanted for a while. If you need to send weekly, fortnightly or monthly stats to a casino, agency or game provider, Streamneeds can now automatically send the report for you instead of someone having to manually pull everything together. Still loads more coming, but this one feels like a pretty big step towards making Streamneeds useful not just for streamers, but for the entire ecosystem around them.

One of the more interesting parts of building Streamneeds has been realising how differently every streamer actually runs their stream. Two creators can have basically the same audience size and still have completely different setups, workflows, moderator roles and ways of keeping their community engaged. That’s made us pretty obsessive about customisation. I don’t want Streamneeds to force everyone into the same way of doing things. The whole point is that the software should fit around the streamer, not the other way around. One of the biggest advantages I've had building Streamneeds is also probably the reason I'm the world's worst customer. I actually use it. If something takes me 5 clicks and I think it should take 2, I complain about it. If I need another website open while I'm streaming, I complain about it. If a feature technically works but feels shit to use, I complain about it. Fortunately our dev team haven't blocked me yet.
