Valiant effort to at least make it a game, but this team isn’t built to come back from down 2-3 possessions. The talent is there if you overlook the wins and losses, part of me isn’t even mad. Nothing but respect for VT, knew Franklin would turn em around.

As a team, we just aren’t ready yet. I knew VT was the better team but these guys are just inexperienced, discombobulated, and not led well. Not a good combination overall. I’m already thinking 2027 offseason in what portal pickups we can get to build the team.

This win feels really good. Was it a perfect win? Really no. But we played a solid game against truly an excellent Duke team. Keep it going boys 🐝🏈💪

And sadly he’s GM until 2031 unless something is done. But like most of us realize, as long as the team is somewhat competitive and people frequent the Battery, you can’t expect Liberty Media to take many serious strides toward championship baseball. Still a solid season.

in postseason play. The problem is apparent to everyone, excluding last years disaster, that’s now the fourth straight postseason since winning it all that we’ve gone out in either the wild card or NLDS. Anthopoulos failed us by not getting a starter and a strong bat.

Disappointed as I am, I’m taking the positive approach. We were projected to finish third, which was reasonable considering our pitching was thin as a razor blade, had truly a flaky offense all season long, and still won our division and finally beat the Phillies

Along with a starting pitcher, we might want to look at another bat or two in the offseason. I should never feel like 3 runs is enough to do us in in a playoff game. Then again, we are facing Yamamoto, but still.

The best part? Everyone was ragging on Dylan Lee after Game 2 of the wild card round and he gets the win tonight. #LetitFly

This is the best bullpen pitching performance in our franchise history. Right up there with the Night Shift #LetitFly
