Today, I had the privilege of representing
@GreaterImpactA at the 4th Edition of the
#UniteForGirls event organised by
@RaisingTeensUg2 at Raise Up A Child Primary School, Namayumba in Wakiso District under the theme, “When girls unite, communities transform.”
I had the opportunity to speak to young people about leadership, courage and the power of using their voices.
My message to them was simple and clear:
Be Brave.
Speak Up.
Know Your Worth.
Stand for Your Future.
I reminded them that leadership does not always begin with a position or a title. Sometimes, it begins with the courage to speak when something is wrong, to make choices that protect your future and to believe that your voice has value.
As the Director of
@GreaterImpactA this is the kind of work that continues to remind me why we exist. From menstrual justice and SRHR to girls’ rights, education and youth leadership, we are committed to creating spaces where young people can be heard, empowered and equipped to create change.
Today was also a beautiful reminder that impact comes with joy. There were conversations, learning, poetry, laughter, dancing and moments of genuine connection.
I am grateful to
@RaisingTeensUg2 for the partnership and to Madam
@nankunda20 thank you for believing in me. Once again thank you for creating this platform where girls and young people could be seen, heard and celebrated.
When girls unite, communities transform. And when young people are brave enough to use their voices, change begins.
