I post about SF6 tech, framedata and hitboxes. I work on Frame Assistant Tool (FAT) for SF6 and SFV. fullmeter.com | ko-fi.com/hatson

It's pretty neat from what little I've played it, but it seems to crash at complete random for me, I've no clue why. Just closes to desktop with no warning sometimes. Anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve it?
I’m hearing positive things about this USF4 mod. Is it finally time to whip out my true GOAT…?

Learning from Bonchan: Perfect Parry Drive Rushes Against Luke’s Fireballs and Baiting OD DP 0:00- Actual match footage 0:13- Punish Luke’s whiffed Light and Medium Fireballs by buffering Drive Rush after a Perfect Parry If you Perfect Parry a Heavy Fireball and Drive Rush, the Punish Counter may not be in time depending on the distance, leaving you vulnerable to an OD DP to stop the Drive Rush If the opponent is looking to use an OD DP to stop the Drive Rush, you can Perfect Parry the fireball → Drive Rush → whiff a throw or use a stored fireball or 214P to make the OD DP whiff This creates a read between whether the opponent will use their DP or not Once the opponent stops using their DP, you can simply Perfect Parry → Drive Rush → strike to apply pressure and take your turn 0:40- Against other characters Terry can more easily avoid DPs by using a fireball after Drive Rush Sagat can more easily avoid DPs by using a fireball after Drive Rush or hitting Nexus at tip range Ryu can more easily avoid DPs by using a Light Hadoken or 236K

Here's an actual side by side comparison. I promise you the clips are synced, the lag just slows down the game tremendously. If you look at the FPS highs, this is almost a 40fps difference. Whoever at Theia decided decrypting files on a single thread was a good idea is stupid
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is facing another problem on PC, and this one is pretty embarrassing for Sony. Players have been testing an unofficial cracked version of the game, and reports show that it can run much better than the official PC version. The main difference is that the cracked version removes the game’s Theia DRM, along with some of the Sony and security software running with the official version. Some players are reporting smoother gameplay, fewer frame drops and lower CPU usage.

#SF6

Takes like this is why modern games are so streamlined and homogenized. At least Avatar exists and is filled with lore accurate gameplay because it's cool. Fuck balance, fuck ESports. Just make a good fighting game that's fun to play and has functional netcode and matchmaking.
Cute detail but this shouldn't be a thing in a fighting game

I want to remind everyone that SF6 matchmaking is still region locked to this day and unplayable to many parts of the world, since no matches can be found and just ends up giving errors. Just another thing Capcom continues to not give any shit about. And probably never will.

Deadpool has a Geese Howard reference! If you beat him by launching him downwards in midair, it hard cuts to this view. This character is amazing. #MARVELTōkon #Deadpool #FGC

I hate how SF6 handles cross-ups, it just confuses players. Because of cross-up protection, this cannot be a cross-up, but because I'm on the other side of them in terms of positioning, I can still hit them, despite the hitbox being flagged to only hit cross-up (which this isn't)
????? i swear this game is making me schizo at the worst moment

I really hope future SF titles do NOT handle cross-up like this in combination with having cross-up protection. It's visually deceptive and too confusing for players to understand. I feel like I'm Chris Hu explaining the DHC glitch but for SF6 cross-ups. youtube.com/watch?v=44depsi7…

I made a whole video not long ago, just to properly explain how this works in SF6, if anyone reading this is curious. youtube.com/watch?v=Zr3J4ufv…

Once again I will remind everyone that in SF6, all light attacks (Luke's 5LK here) extend their FULL hurtboxes 2F before active. This is a universal rule in SF6 since the closed betas in 2022. Light attacks are designed to be easily counter-hit (via counterpokes) in this game.
