Meow! 😸 What a wild ride. Thank you everyone for being part of the creation of a new protocol on Bitcoin. We started a movement. I know that many folks are now waiting for wallet support and a marketplace to trade the cats according to the #CAT21 protocol.

Please be patient; we are so early that most folks in the ordinals universe still haven't heard about it.
I wanted to somehow release this before the runes craziness would explode. So we had this last opportunity where fees were low and people were still able to think about anything else than runes. And I'm proud that we were able to deliver. We have more than 12k holders (mint addresses) and 61k confirmed cats on the motherchain. We left a footprint on Bitcoin, and it's impossible to deny this success. The CAT-21 protocol is now a thing. This is also a huge success for such a small team.
So, we are a super small team; we did everything in our spare time. We coded, collaborated, reviewed, and audited the code after our daylight jobs. Not a single team member earned a single satoshi from this. We are a free protocol, and we are committed to delivering this for free because it's the right thing. This means we have zero dependencies on anyone. We had no VC involved, so that we didn't have to pre-allocate a part of the supply. We had not a single crypto influencer involved, so we were not dependent on them to pump/dump their bags. As a result, we got the best distribution possible. Every single cat above number 100 was minted by the community. You brave people aped into this, and as a reward, you got one or more very special digital artifacts in your wallets.
So what happens next? We will continue to deliver. Slowly, but steadily. We started this, we will meme a full ecosystem into existence. We will ask experts in the industry to peer review our ideas so that we get a full protocol that is not only about cats. Our vision is a non-fungible protocol for digital art (and even more?) that involves inscriptions for parsing but that uses the nLockTime field for data storage. We think that this idea is revolutionary, as it requires way less data than inscriptions. When fees continue to rise, we have a good chance to establish a niche protocol next to inscriptions, atomicals, and stamps. For this, we will invite artists to create cool art. And we invite coders to code! 😺 We delivered a first cat meme protocol. Now we are building a generic protocol and eventually a full ecosystem. Slowly, but steadily.

We know that now the attention will shift to runes (that was clear from the beginning, that's the single reason why we started the protocol one week earlier). And this is absolutely fine. Please have fun in the online casino. In 100 blocks, the pure madness will begin. Meanwhile, don't forget the cats, just don't fade them. When you have lost all the money that you were willing to lose (and hopefully some of you made generational wealth), then remember that you still have a cat in your wallet. It might be a gem at that time. 💎

Every post below this is a scam! There are scammers out there impersonating me and the team! The only places to mint a real CAT-21 ordinal are @OrdpoolSpace and @ordimint! Full stop!
Again: EVERY post below this is a scam!
