Next man up was today’s mission as the second 7 raced in the varsity of the LSN/Kris Solsberg meet and finished 3rd out of 17 teams. Then our next guys stepped up to win the JV out of 17 teams. Mission accomplished!

There were actually over 230 racers in the most competitive Green division.
Charlie Sullivan ’29 was also a medalist in the very competitive 100-man race, finishing 16th in 16:20!
Jack Morrison ’28 (16:44), Abram Bland ’28 (16:56), and Tyler Bell ’29 (16:58) rounded out Rock’s top-5 by each placing in the top-40. Rock State!

Nice opening race for these boys and many others not pictured here as 8 of the 16 varsity guys ran PRs. The JV boys won with an impressive 35 points led by freshman Ford Pullins and 3 other frosh. C team race was won by frosh Will Schletzbaum as they finished 4th.

Congrats to Charlie Sullivan '29, the Nike Outdoor Nationals Champion in the Freshman 1 Mile in Eugene, OR!
Charlie came through the line in 4:19.96, finishing 1st out of 64 freshmen. Charlie is just the second Hawklet ever to break 4:20 in the 1 Mile as a freshman. Rock State!

Freshman Charlie Sullivan claims the victory in the silver race of the KC Metro Mile running a very impressive 4:20.59 full mile. And he had lots of teammates to cheer him on! This is a top 15 time for a freshman in the nation currently.

Fun evening in Arcadia, California where Jake Bond improved his season best 800 to 1:55.2 and Jack McGovern broke his school record in the 3200 with a 8:49.1 which is the 3rd fastest in Missouri history. Jack Meyer placed 3rd in long jump.
