Year 3 took part in a World Cup live lesson with Picture News! The children talked about what we can learn from playing sport, what qualities sport can help us with and we thought about whether we can learn anything from losing or winning a game!
🌊 In Picture News, we explored the question: How do we protect our oceans? Using our acting skills, we followed the journey of a piece of litter from our playground to the ocean, where it was mistaken for food by a sea creature. This linked to our amazing Year 1 assembly💙
As part of our Year 6 takeover day, Miss Bush delivered an excellent Picture News worship to the whole school. She talked about #worldoceanday and taking care of the environment.
@MrsCHickson led a special @HelpPicture worship this morning about the @FIFAWorldCup World Cup 2026 and what it can teach us about the world. They recorded a special message for the @EnglandFootball team too for their first match tonight!
