why do the banks hate crypto? because we can freely move our money whenever we want. xmoney seems cool. and I'm all in for @jackbutcher mint. I think it's fun, but avter adding funds 5 times, my bank shut me off. not because of the amount, but because I can only do 5 atm tx per day. I'm fine with them trying to protect fraudulent charges, but in order for me to change this, it takes 5 business days. crypto is the future.

I don't take this as fud. I don't care what chain someone comes from. Claude has made devs from any chain able to pick up new languages way quicker than 5 years ago. not saying that makes them all experts, it doesn't, but makes things easier than they used to be.

Doing something new is rarely clean. New ideas create friction. Things break. Not everyone gets it immediately. We made people interact with Zcash before asking them to care about Zcash. From pre-launch through the auction, we built Zilk Road to make an otherwise confusing path into ZEC feel intuitive, seamless, and fun. The auction was completely blind. Bidders submitted their maximum. The top 8,000 bids cleared at one price. Losing bids were refunded in full. Winners received everything above the clearing price back. Once the auction settled, $19M+ was promptly returned to bidders. Meanwhile: 42,000 new wallets created across Noir, Zodl, and Vizor. ~$40M in blind auction bids. ~20M routed through @auroraisnear, powered by @NEARProtocol. Record-breaking activity across the Zcash network. Tens of thousands of bids later, people who had never touched ZEC are now inside the ecosystem. New wallets. Shielded ZEC. Not debating if it's perfect or that the ownership pretty much depends on 1 person and 1 website.
