No, I don't need fifteen extra layers of rules and obscure denominational configuration settings just to use the basic system.
No, I don't need some proprietary service layer standing between me and the core itself: God βοΈ
The Word of God is open-source documentation. Everyone can read the manual for themselves. π
Sound Christianity also has a healthy support community around it. β€οΈ
A good community welcomes new users, helps people troubleshoot problems, and makes room for questions without snark, scams, gatekeeping, or know-it-all elitism. It's the kind of community where people genuinely inspire one another and help each other learn and grow. π«π±π
When nobody knows the answer, they don't bluff. They open the manual, carefully read it together, compare what it actually says, and work toward a solution. ππ§π€
People who've been using the system longer gladly share what they've learned, including common mistakes and problems worth avoiding. Experience is there to help others, not to grant someone permanent admin privileges.
No bitter forum-mod mentality. No treating beginners like idiots because they haven't figured everything out yet. πππ€£π π’
And no, "we've been running this version for centuries" definitely doesn't mean every added feature or inherited bug belongs in the original installation, or is even compatible with the original system.

More importantly, his character would remind them of Jesus, which would humble, soften, and inspire them.

I've said before that if people want to understand the problems with many parts of Reformed Christian Nationalism (CN), it actually helps to understand the history and problems of the charismatic New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), because the two overlap in significant ways.
They are different expressions of the same underlying postmillennial dominionism: a "we win down here, at any cost" political prosperity-gospel mentality, the Seven Mountain Mandate, New Age-influenced distortions of Scripture, Marxist-style redefinition and manipulation of language, and authoritarian, abusive, hierarchical leadership structures.
Study what has been happening for decades, and you'll have a good idea of what to expect in the future, because history often rhymes.
I have no crystal ball, but it wouldn't surprise me if these two movements eventually converged or merged in some form.
If you havenβt listened to @alisa_childers interview with @johnlcooper and Korey, itβs insane.
Thereβs an epidemic of narcissistic style pastors wrecking congregations.
It should be studied. This is an exhibit A though.
If youβre not about the kingdom, but your own fiefdom, do not become a pastor.

If I were a Luciferian propagandist trying to destabilize social cohesion in the US, deepen divisions between men and women, and push people toward demanding extremist "solutions" to problems I had manufactured, I would exploit the Lindsay Clancy trial relentlessly.
I would flood social media with intellectually shallow emotional ragebait, factual inaccuracies, and deliberately inflammatory framing.
I would be especially pleased to see a large number of Christians not merely falling for it, but actively doing the work for me, especially when all it takes to weaken their discernment is the prospect of ego-boosting engagement metrics and revenue payouts.

If you haven't already enabled security features like two-factor authentication, password reset protection, and passkeys, I highly recommend doing so.

This has been @JoelWebbon's tactic for years:
Say controversial things that push boundaries and cryptically communicate one thing to his followers, but can later be reframed as:
"No, no, no, that's NOT what I meant at ALL, you demonic slanderers!"
when he inevitably faces criticism...
He communicates in a cruel and overbearing, yet deliberately ambiguous and academic-sounding, way, leaving himself room to retreat to a more defensible interpretation when challenged.
Heck, Joel has even changed the way he speaks to sound more trustworthy and authoritative. (lol)
It's a rhetorical strategy that combines several tactics: dog-whistle or dual-audience messaging, half-joking as a form of plausible deniability, academic or theological-sounding language used to obscure the point or confuse the audience, playing the victim when challenged, retreating to a safer position through the motte-and-bailey tactic, and engaging in DARVO-style behavior.
At this point I'm convinced he studies actual propaganda and manipulation techniques and uses them to his advantage. He seems to view this kind of rhetoric as a set of "tactics" for gaining ground and winning the so-called culture war.
The same pattern appears among many of his Christian Nationalist associates.
We're dealing with people who are highly dishonest in how they communicate, and as Christians, we should recognize it, call it out, and oppose it.
