I don't think this movie was about anti-capitalism at all. It's about construction of narratives and how narratives are a much more effective tool than "facts". The characters even go as far as saying they don't care about the truth when portraying Digger himself. The director chose climate change because he wanted the target audience to be people who are liberal types to understand this lesson. Climate change could be swapped for pretty much any existential threat.
It pretty much spells it out for you that the world is also moved by great men and not the masses. Funnily enough people who don't get this film (the masses) go ape shit about it.
Australian twitter is not serious. Australia first doesnt make sense when our nation in the short and long term in the realm of the politically possible is going to fall within the sphere of America or China.
"Insert your nation here First" only works in America as it is the imperial centre and do have sovereignty.
But do keep fighting about nazis and communists in the big 2026.
