Just so you know, Ronaldo’s biggest achievement is chasing 1,000 goals while Messi has packed everything you can ask for in football. I know Ogunmepon's fans will argue this...not surprised.😂 Messi has 8 Ballon d’Ors, a World Cup, 2 Copa Américas, 4 Champions Leagues and is now the all-time leading World Cup scorer with 18 goals. But, Ronaldo has 5 Ballon d’Ors and is currently on 979 career goals, so yes, the 1,000 chase is very real. The fact that he isn't on the 2026 Ballon d'or nomination list..😭😭😂 For the records, Ronaldo has not been nominated since 2022 and this is his fourth consecutive omission. Messi is back on the list in 2026, making it his 17th career nomination. And before you enter my comments, drop your stats reasonably without being delusional and sentimental.😌

Bold opinion: Cristiano Ronaldo is NOT the greatest footballer ever. He is the greatest goalscorer of his generation. There’s a difference. Evidence: Messi has more Ballon d’Ors, more assists, a World Cup, a Copa América and 4 Champions League titles — while also being an elite playmaker, not just a scorer. Ronaldo’s longevity and goal record are ridiculous. 🐐 But if we’re judging the complete footballer, goals alone don’t settle the case. I rest my case 😀

My argument is... Thierry Henry was a more complete footballer than Cristiano Ronaldo in his prime, even though Ronaldo achieved more individual and team success. One of the reasons to support this argument is .. Henry could create and finish chances. Henry was not just a goalscorer. At Arsenal, he could drop deep, carry the ball, beat defenders, create chances for teammates and finish attacks himself. He was both the team's main attacking threat and one of its most creative players.
