The Hasan Piker discourse has been missing something fundamental and it's led to a lack of clarity on the whole Israel-American Judaism topic.
The entire premise of Hasan's argument is if Jews do not abandon Israel, action will be taken against them. The question that needs to be asked is:
"Hey Hasan, lets say my magical crystal ball says that Jews will disagree with policies of Israel but continue to support the existence of a Jewish and Democratic state for the next millennium by around 88%. This cannot be changed. What do you think the approach to Jews should be?
He'd never admit to it, but his answer is "Jews and their institutions need to be confronted directly even with violence."
This is why what he said is messed up. It wasn't a warning, it was an order.
