So, my eye exam is next week. My mom was able to have the exam money.. it took from us, but I need to see.
I have $76/$245. My insurance truly does not cover exams or glasses. I have Medicare D — in layman’s terms, the “Figure It Out Yourself” insurance.
My eyes are terrible. Last time I went they saw something behind my eyes— it’s been a while since an actual doctor checked. Glaucoma runs in my family.
Also, the reason my eyes are so bad is because they are not properly aligned and I have a lazy eye, and if my bad eye recognized my good eye, I would be seeing double.
Surgery rate for that would have had a pretty high blindness rate.
Yes, this is a birth defect.
Also get this? THEY HAVE DOCTORS ON A SCREEN??? You can’t see my eyes that way.
Anyway, even if I could just get partial/half of the amount, that would be wonderful.
And after my exam, and I go see how much things are at Walmart, I will post an actual total for the glasses.
