Honest question, do you post this for rage bait? No sane person can look at Watsons play and say he has the skills to be a good QB.
If the Browns move on from Deshaun Watson it won't be because he lacks skills to play quarterback, it will be because the NFL engaged in an unprecedented campaign to unperson him -- including with the historic suspension based on no evidence and no criminal prosecution, and egregiously slanted officiating and media coverage -- to ensure that the Browns would be punished for giving him the guaranteed contract after he forced his way out of Houston. An organization worthy of admiration and its status as a public asset in Northeast Ohio and the USA would remain supportive of Watson in the face of this profoundly unfair, fraudulent, and un-American treatment, and call the league out for it, in the tradition of all-time greats like Al Davis. The Watson saga, at least as it's played out to date, is as much reason for decent people to tune the NFL out, or view it as a cancer on civilization, as any story in recent memory. If the Browns give up on him they will correctly be viewed as the same.
