I agree with this take. He had another juror with him on the guilty verdict and whoever that coward was caved under pressure but they couldn’t sway a masculine man that stood on principle. As you’ve stated, Big Pharma has a hand in this as well, though it doesn’t absolve Lindsay Clancy of murder. She’s guilty as hell, and has admitted herself. America is the most heavily medicated society in the world with approximately 130 million Americans taking prescribed medication every month. 37.3 million Americans were prescribed antidepressants (2018) and 6.1 million were prescribed antipsychotics. I’m sure those numbers are much larger today. Not to mention that the U.S. is 1 of only two countries (the other being New Zealand) that allow broad direct-to-consumer advertising of prescription medicines. I also agree that it seems, aside from their monolithic voting, Black people are starting to lose their usefulness to Democrats. In my opinion, Democrats are reading the room with the Black fatigue. The ratchet, ghetto culture, like that portrayed by Jasmine Crockett isn’t doing the party any good.
