Honestly? A terrible call on Blizz's part. RP-PVP has been a strong staple of the Classic community and its pretty dumb to add reasons for people to come together and RP like the camping system and then totally remove one of the best RP experiences in world PVP.

I was on Grob from day 1 and while yes it had its issues the RP community in that server was the entire reason anyone played there. player lead vents, community, conflict, and so much more has just been lost because of this short sighted call.
