You’re going to spend money this month anyway.
Maybe on subscriptions. Shopping. Food. Bills. Whatever your normal expenses look like.
So I started thinking about it differently:
If I’m already spending USDT, can I get some of it back?
That’s what got me looking into
@MEXC Card.
It’s a Visa virtual debit card funded with USDT, so the idea is pretty simple: use your USDT for everyday payments instead of treating your crypto balance as something you only keep on an exchange.
And then there’s the cashback.
MEXC doesn’t give everyone the same rate. It depends on your VVIP tier:
Standard: 4% — up to 100 USDT/month
Premier: 6% — up to 300 USDT/month
Elite: 10% — up to 800 USDT/month
The numbers sound good, but the cap is the part I’d actually pay attention to.
For example, at the Elite 10% rate, spending 1,000 USDT on eligible purchases would mean 100 USDT in cashback.
But you can’t keep multiplying that forever.
The maximum is 800 USDT cashback per month, so the cap would be reached at 8,000 USDT of eligible spending.
And “eligible” matters.
Refunded or reversed transactions, as well as certain ineligible merchant categories, don’t qualify.
Your cashback rate is also based on the VVIP tier you actually have on the last day of the month, and the cashback is credited to your Spot account by the 15th of the following month.
So what determines the tier?
M-Score.
MEXC’s M-Score takes factors such as trading volume, platform activity and security credit into account. It starts at 350 and can go above 1,500.
Standard is 350–599, Premier is 600–799, and Elite starts at 800.
One detail I think is important: there isn’t a published fixed asset balance or monthly card-spend requirement that guarantees Elite status. Your score can be influenced by different account factors, so I wouldn’t treat it like a simple “deposit X and unlock 10%” system.
There’s also Card Earn, which is interesting but should not be confused with cashback.
You have to manually subscribe to the “MEXC Card” USDT Flexible product in MEXC Earn. During the promotional program, eligible subscriptions from 100 to 100,000 USDT can earn 7% APR.
That yield is separate from your card spending and cashback. It doesn’t automatically apply to the USDT sitting in your card balance.
Then there are the fees.
For the Global Card, the current promotion includes 0 annual fee, 0 top-up fee and 0% crypto conversion fee. Spending fees are also 0% during the Aug 31–Sep 30, 2026 promotional period.
So for me, the interesting part isn’t simply “10% cashback.”
It’s the whole equation:
What am I spending?
What tier am I actually in?
How much of that spending is eligible?
What’s the monthly cap?
And what fees or conditions apply?
That’s a much better way to look at any crypto card.
Because the headline gets your attention.
The details tell you what you’re actually getting.
