This
Let me tell you exactly where I stand, because I’m fucking sick of pretending I don’t have an opinion just because somebody might be offended by it.
I LOVE THIS COUNTRY.
I love Britain.
I love the people who live here. I love our communities. I love our history. I love our traditions. I love the fact that generations before us worked, sacrificed and fought to build the country we inherited.
And because I give a fuck about Britain, I’m not prepared to sit on the sidelines and watch politicians dismantle public confidence in our borders, our laws and our institutions while ordinary people are expected to just shut up and accept it.
No.
I’ve had enough.
I don’t hate somebody because they’re foreign.
I don’t care what colour somebody’s skin is.
I don’t care what country somebody was born in.
But I absolutely care about whether people obey the law.
I care about who enters this country.
I care about whether our borders are controlled.
I care about whether people who come here have been properly identified and security checked.
I care about British families who are struggling to pay their bills while watching governments make decisions that leave them feeling completely ignored.
And I care about victims of crime.
If somebody comes into Britain illegally and commits a serious crime against an innocent person, I don’t give a flying fuck whether talking about it makes somebody uncomfortable.
The victim matters.
The law matters.
Public safety matters.
And the people running this country need to remember who they work for.
Because I’m absolutely sick of ordinary British people being treated like they’re the problem for asking completely legitimate questions.
We’re told to be quiet.
We’re told to be compassionate.
We’re told not to “stoke tensions.”
We’re told to watch our language.
We’re told to trust the system.
We’re told everything is under control.
Well, here’s my answer:
Look people in the fucking eye and tell them that.
Tell the family struggling to get an NHS appointment that everything is fine.
Tell the person frightened to walk home at night that everything is fine.
Tell the taxpayer watching their money disappear that everything is fine.
Tell the communities being asked to accommodate more and more pressure that everything is fine.
Tell the victims of serious crime that their concerns aren’t important because somebody might find the conversation uncomfortable.
People aren’t stupid.
They can see what’s happening around them.
They can make their own minds up.
And they are fucking angry.
So am I.
I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
I’ve never claimed to have a filter. I say what I believe, and sometimes I say it with anger because I’m angry.
I’m angry because I believe this country is capable of so much more.
I’m angry because Britain should have functioning borders.
I’m angry because politicians have spent years making promises and then wondering why people no longer trust them.
I’m angry because ordinary people are constantly expected to compromise while those in power seem completely detached from the consequences of their decisions.
And I’m angry because loving your own country has somehow become something you’re expected to apologise for.
Fuck that.
I will not apologise for being proud to be British.
I will not apologise for wanting secure borders.
I will not apologise for wanting immigration properly controlled.
I will not apologise for wanting criminals held accountable.
I will not apologise for demanding that British citizens are protected.
And I will absolutely not apologise for challenging politicians when I believe they’re getting it wrong.
If that offends you, that’s your problem.
If you think I’m too loud, turn the fucking volume down.
If you don’t like my opinions, challenge them.
If you disagree with me, argue your case.
But don’t tell me to shut up.
Because I’m not going to.
But one thing you won’t do is convince me that I should stop caring.
