This is about public servants who are average, middle-class workers and struggling with the rest of us as prices rise. A pay freeze with costs rising is effectively a pay cut, jeopardizing public services, like VA healthcare. We should be investing in the workers who serve our country, and at minimum be treating them with dignity and respect.

Corporations are trying to reduce existing safety measures by requesting fewer inspections, waiving safety regulations, and implementing self-regulation. We have to speak up to maintain the rail safety standards that we have, not weaken them. ⚠️
