Sons Of Liberty International: October 11, 2026 Washington, D.C. — U.S. citizen @Matt_VanDyke was granted automatic bail from Tihar Jail on September 25, 2026. This was after NIA did not invoke UAPA provisions, only Sections 21 & 23 of the Immigration, and Foreigners Act which was settled in court through his attorneys, along with permission to leave India for one month pending a final hearing Oct 23. Matthew traveled back to the US, to reunite with family and friends. We hope that the matter will be resolved quickly, and the case is officially closed. Thank you to all who supported the petition, donated to the legal fundraiser, and sent messages of support. We ask that you continue to support the existing fundraiser online at sonsoflibertyinternational.c… to help us cover final legal expenses.

I find way more interesting to listening to corp people rant about their colleagues, the office scandals, the preferential treatment by manager, the office kalesh… way way more fun
Yesterday I went for a party where someone commented that barring Doctors - no one talks about their work outside of work - especially in parties. It was meant to be rude and I fully agree with him. We are sort of insufferable that way. A lot of people think it’s because we don’t have a life outside of medicine. Which is also true. Again - sad. But …but - I personally have plenty of life outside of hospital and medicine and still end up talking about medicine - but I feel the reason is different. It’s not becuase it’s insufferable or we don’t have a life outside medicine. It’s because the stories about patients and the work are unfathomably way more interesting than Anything else in the world. Take 2 CA - what will they talk about? Numbers, taxation? Politics? Modi or Gandhi? EY or KPMG? While we were talking about at times funny and hilarious patient stories, sometimes genuinely sad, sometimes Cathartic. It’s listening to real life sitcoms, dramedy and tragedy all at once. Maybe I’m insufferable and boring and that’s why I don’t like about taxation or cars or politics in a party, Or maybe those stores and getting inside this fictional - non fictional world (it’s fiction from our perspective- since we haven’t lived it) - is a way more interesting world to be in.

Losing the Gokul dairy elections was not on the cards for the BJP. The rug has been pulled from under their feet, and they will likely make more such missteps. It is up to the opposition and the winners to capitalize on this. ✨✨

I can’t stop laughing this is so good “Homeopathiwale or homeopathiwali” “wastrels”
A lot of people have been voicing concerns about the homeopathy practitioner treating ICU patients. Please note, a homeopathy practitioner inside the ICU or anywhere inside a real hospital is not a doctor. It's Homeopathywale or Homeopathywali. Ms. Kalapana Savani the Homeopath who has been performing procedures inside an ICU, assisting high risk pregancies, giving new born care to high risk neonates has not been investigated, nor an official statement given from the Maate Hospital. Not only is this hospital is in violation of multiple patient safety terms and conditions, including allowing a Homepath to enter a high risk procedures OT, treat critically ill ICU patients, the so-called OBGyn Dr. Vishal Savani is also allowing a bystander to pour liquids into a woman's mouth while she is in labour without foreseeing severe lung aspiration dangers and also posing with new borns upside down and endangering their lives. Why is this hospital allowed to function? The great National Medical Comission was salivating and coming at me rabidly for "professional misconduct" when Ayurveda and Homeopathy Councils made frivolous complaints against me for calling them pseudoscientific. thehindu.com/news/national/k… Are you sleeping on this now your Highnesses? Are the new @NMC_BHARAT rules only for ethical conduct only for competent doctors who do their duties properly and not for doctor-quacks like these can do anything they want? Do your job wastrels! Two Bangladeshi citizens, Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siti Akhtar, were executed in Saudi Arabia on 14 October. Their families, their government and their "Bangladesh" consulate appear to have learned of it only after it was done. Whatever one thinks of the alleged act, this should outrage anyone who believes in due process. Two lives were taken through a process no one outside the Saudi system was allowed to see. Seven things about this execution demand scrutiny and accountability: ONE. Saudi Arabia failed to notify the Bangladesh consulate twice. The first failure came at arrest. Under Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, a detained foreign national must be told without delay of the right to consular notification and access, and there is no sign either of them ever was. The second failure came after the executions. Article 37 requires the host state to inform the consulate of a foreign national’s death without delay, and the Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah says it was not told. TWO. It was a death sentence for a non-lethal offence. The sentence was ta’zir, a discretionary punishment. No religious text required death here; a judge chose it. That falls far short of the “most serious crimes” threshold set by the Arab Charter on Human Rights, which Saudi Arabia has ratified, and by the UN death-penalty safeguards. THREE. We don’t know what legal representation they had. Did each have a lawyer? A Bangla interpreter? Did the conviction rest on a confession, and how was that confession obtained? FOUR. We don’t know if the woman’s consent was examined. The Saudi statement does not even confirm whether the two were married. FIVE. The families were left in the dark. Were they told beforehand? Where are the bodies, and will they be returned? SIX. Our consulate was absent for months. The Saudi statement says “the judgment became final after being upheld by the relevant judicial authority, and a Royal Order was issued to enforce the sentence.” That describes an arrest, detention, investigation, trial, appeal and royal confirmation, which takes months, not days. What was the Bangladesh consulate doing through all of it? SEVEN. The Foreign Ministry’s response is a disgrace. It cannot excuse itself by saying it was not contacted. Article 31 of our Constitution guarantees every citizen the protection of the law “wherever he (or she) may be.” The state has a positive duty to protect its people abroad, above all the wage earners whose remittances keep our economy afloat. Treating them this way is inexcusable. This is part of a bigger pattern. Bangladesh's Foreign Ministry is usually quick to issue scathing statements, for example over Sheikh Hasina’s press event in Delhi or the heckling of Professor Yunus. Here it has been strikingly timid. Abuse of Bangladeshi workers across the Middle East is widely reported, yet we have rarely seen real backbone from the ministry or our Gulf missions. Dhaka should do four things now: 1. Demand the full case file and judgments from Riyadh, and publish them. 2. Secure the return of the remains to the families. 3. Audit every Bangladeshi currently detained or on death row in the Gulf. 4. Negotiate and put in place a robust arrangement for automatic consular protection in all such circumstances. Two citizens are dead. The least they deserve is the truth about how and why. #Bangladesh #SaudiArabia #HumanRights #DeathPenalty #ConsularRights #MigrantWorkers #DueProcess #ViennaConvention
