The majority of machine shops are going to pay a new employee less than amazon and with a lot fewer benefits.
Amazon is the minimum wage that they're going to have to compete with, and i think the majority of people that own/run a machine shop will let it close down before they "overpay" some 18 yo 20$ an hour..
