Today is Saint Sava’s Day in Serbia. Saint Sava, born Rastko Nemanjić, was a medieval prince who discarded royal life to become an orthodox monk in Greece. He later returned to #Serbia and led a renaissance that included establishing schools and medieval Serbian literature.
