In parts of Pakistan, people have been smoking dried scorpions to get high. The scorpion is burned and the smoke is inhaled. People who do it say it can cause dizziness, drowsiness and even hallucinations. It sounds completely insane, but this is a real practice in some areas. And the scary part is that we still don't know much about what inhaling scorpion smoke actually does to the body.

Germany has a system called sexual assistance for some people with disabilities. Professional sexual assistants can provide companionship, physical intimacy and sexual experiences to people whose disabilities may make intimacy difficult to access independently. The idea is simple: being disabled does not mean losing the need for touch, intimacy or sexuality.

He shot his wife outside her workplace. Then he got enough time to reach his sister and kill her. How was it so easy? In Lucknow, an SBI employee shot his wife Divya Mishra outside her ICICI Bank workplace. He then went home, killed his sister and later died by suicide. Forget the marital dispute for a moment. The bigger question is: How does someone get the opportunity to move from one crime scene to another and still have enough time to kill another person? Where was the immediate response? How long did it take for the police to reach the first crime scene? Could the second killing have been prevented if the first incident had triggered an immediate alert? The disturbing part isn't just what happened. It's how much opportunity he had to do it again.

If everyone knows they’re advertising pan masala, why are they allowed to call it elaichi? Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff have received show-cause notices from the Maharashtra FDA over a Vimal Elaichi advertisement. The allegation is that such “surrogate” advertisements can indirectly promote pan masala by using the same brand name, identity and celebrity endorsements. Because let's be honest: when you see a Vimal Elaichi ad featuring Bollywood stars, are you really thinking about elaichi? So why does the law allow a product to be promoted indirectly when its actual brand association is obvious to everyone?

RUPEES 45,000 PER NIGHT DROPS TO JUST RUPEES 11,000 PER NIGHT. Parul Gulati bought a 3.1 crore villa in Goa, expecting to make around rupees 45,000 per night. Today, the villa earns just rupees 11,000 per night. She says Goa’s luxury villa market is now crowded with competition, especially during the off season. Her Goa investment turned out to be very different from what she expected.

Meet Prasanna Bisht, 28. From the mountains of Almora, she moved to Mumbai in 2021 and spent years chasing auditions, facing rejection after rejection. Last year, she was ready to leave Mumbai because she could no longer afford to stay. Then came Chiraiya, where her raw portrayal of a marital rape survivor made audiences sit up and take notice. Now, she’s winning praise as a government school teacher in Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya, a role that felt personal because her own mother is a teacher. She once said rejection was her everyday routine. Yet she stayed. How many of you only noticed Prasanna after Chiraiya?

6/7 Bollywood doesn't have a shortage of beautiful people. It has a shortage of interesting faces and personalities. A perfectly symmetrical face might look good in a poster. But cinema needs charisma, individuality and talent.

7/7 The irony is that Bollywood once celebrated unconventional beauty. Now everyone seems terrified of looking different. And that's exactly why so many of today's “perfect” faces are becoming impossible to remember.
