Prego has sugar as the third ingredient. Rao's doesn't list sugar at all, and Campbell's owns both. Prego Traditional reads tomato puree, diced tomatoes, sugar, then under 1% of salt, canola oil, onions, garlic, spices, basil and citric acid. Rao's Marinara reads whole peeled tomatoes, olive oil, onions, salt, garlic, basil, black pepper and oregano. A half cup of Prego has 9g of sugar, 4g of it added. Rao's has 4g and none added. Tomato paste and citric acid make a sauce sharp, and a few grams of sugar round that off cheaper than cooking it down longer. Campbell's paid $2.7 billion for the company that makes Rao's in 2024.

bitcoin:native: OIL SUPPLY IS HIGHLY RESPONSIVE TO PRICE. Higher oil prices incentivize drilling, investment, and innovation. Over time, new production increases supply, putting downward pressure on prices. Bitcoin is fundamentally different. Higher Bitcoin prices incentivize more mining investment, but cannot increase the supply schedule. In 2010, a barrel of oil cost ~1,000 BTC. Today: 0.001 BTC. That's a 99.9999% decline in Bitcoin terms. Here's the fundamental difference: Oil's scarcity creates incentives to produce more. Bitcoin's scarcity cannot be overcome by producing more. In a world where technology makes energy increasingly abundant, imagine holding money that technology cannot make more abundant. To see the big picture, you have to ZOOM OUT.

Technically, bitcoin doesn’t have a price. Bitcoin is money, and money has an “exchange rate” that is interchangeable with any other money, at any time We just call it a “price” because people saw it as a stock or commodity and we never corrected ourselves

In the final minute of the game, you saw a coaching masterclass on both sides: - Mike McCarthy taking the 10-second runoff when time wasn't an issue for the Browns - Todd Monken calling passing plays after they were well within field goal range - Todd Monken calling a timeout with 19 seconds left, thereby ensuring that the Steelers were guaranteed to get the ball back - Todd Monken then having his kicker kick it out of the end zone for a touchback - Mike McCarthy, with 10 seconds left and a timeout, needing 20 yards to get into range, calling a Hail Mary from his own 35 I'm going insane

I was at a college visit listening to a professor talk about stocks, economics, and the importance of accepting a loss. Basically: don’t get so headstrong about a stock that you refuse to admit when the company itself is clearly deteriorating. And that makes complete sense with companies. A technology company can get disrupted. An AI company can lose its edge. Management can screw up. Competitors can take over. The thing you originally invested in can fundamentally become worse. That’s where ₿itcoin feels completely different to me. The price can fall 20%, 50%, or more and that alone does not change the rules of the network. There is no CEO. There is no management team. Bitcoin’s issuance is still governed by its consensus rules, and the protocol still enforces a maximum supply of 21 million. This means Bitcoins price going down is not the same thing as the underlying system deteriorating. This distinction should matter to you. Stop betting your LIFE savings on whatever technology company, AI company, or stock you think might dominate the next decade. If you don’t understand what you own, what gives it value, and who ultimately controls it, why are you putting your life savings into it? I have more confidence storing my money in ₿itcoin than any individual stock, or traditional bank account - even when ₿itcoin is considered the “riskier” asset. With ₿itcoin, I don’t have to study the owners because there aren’t any. I don’t have to trust a CEO to make the right decision. And a falling price doesn’t give someone the ability to suddenly issue more of the supply. That’s what I mean when I say: Stop betting. Start understanding. Know exactly what you’re choosing to own. And if none of this makes sense to you yet, study ₿itcoin.

Every time people wonder what the government could do to help, they should be directed to this post. Nothing, the government could stop doing, stop stealing. It’s this massive bar over which every productive person is trying madly to climb whether they know it or not. We wave our hands vaguely at some mysterious thing we don’t understand but call “the economy” as if we knew what it was and say we are struggling because the economy is poor. No we struggling because the surplus fruits of our labor are being stollen regularly, predictably and in finely calculated amounts such that we exist but never have the ability to move from the mud we are mired in. As though a gorilla is sitting on your back and beating you with a stick all the while asking you to feed it more bananas, complaining about your lack of spirit and will to move. Why just think of all the things the gorilla does for you, who would sit atop your shoulders and beat you with a stick otherwise!?

Get Deener off. Let Creighton and mark run the show and that’d be a monster upgrade
Louisville fans are in dire need of a good morning show. Deener incessantly talks down on his co-hosts, callers, and local businesses and seems to know very little about the current happenings at UofL. Seems like a miserable human being
