Clarity Act bill fails to survive cloture for full Senate consideration.
Needed all republicans + some dems and independents.
The vote was 49-50.
There are 53 republicans in Congress.
So this cannot just be a “democrats are villains” story.
How a president that wields so much power and controls every lever of Government cannot make good on his promises to get this done is the story.
Crypto was a win for him.
For the industry and America? No so much.
