The Dutch province of Limburg and North Rhine-Westphalia (GER) join forces 🔥🌲🤝 A new agreement will connect the wildfire detection systems of both regions into one joint network, as reported by the renowned Dutch newspaper AD.nl (ad.nl/maastricht/limburg-en-…).

This cross-border approach will offer the region a much stronger shield against wildfires. As Limburg’s Governor Emile Roemer puts it: “Recent heat waves and the wild and vegetation fires we have experienced in Limburg show how vital rapid detection and close cooperation are.”
