The CM of Telangana, Shri
@revanth_anumula, along with his cabinet colleagues, is playing a dangerous and dirty game of vengeance and deception, targeting the University of Hyderabad (HCU) to settle political scores under the guise of a so-called committee and a 2000 acre “eco-park”.
@TelanganaCMO @TelanganaCS
Just yesterday, he shamelessly declared there was “no wildlife, no trees” on the 400 acres of Kancha Gachibowli land, a blatant lie to justify his cruel conspiracy of auctioning this biodiversity-rich area to pre-selected crony capitalists.
But after fierce protests by brave HCU students and environmentalists, and a Supreme Court stay on tree-felling, he has now made a shameless U-turn, announcing a so-called 2,000-acre “eco-park”. What a farce! He’s behaving like a true Tughlaq.
Let’s be clear: this sudden shift is not about conservation. It’s a calculated move to destroy HCU, one of India’s most prestigious institutions, just because its students dared to resist his criminal agenda. Ironically, he also holds the Education portfolio, which has become a curse for Telangana under his tenure.
His dictatorial and faction-driven mindset is evident. The real plan? Uproot HCU, relocate it to “Future City” with a new ₹1,000 crore campus, and erase its legacy, all while pretending to care about the environment. But if he truly cared, why attempt to destroy the biodiversity in the first place? He must tender a public apology to HCU for his brazen actions.
And let’s not forget: the 400 acres he planned to auction are reportedly mortgaged to a bank for Rs 20000 Cr. How can the government develop land now that’s legally encumbered?
This eco-park drama is nothing more than a smokescreen to cover up his vindictive intent. His constant flip-flops expose his lack of vision, integrity, and respect for institutions.
HCU isn’t just a university, it’s a symbol of academic excellence, a brainchild of late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.
It’s time for the students, environmentalists, and people of Telangana to unite and protect HCU and its 400 acres of pristine biodiversity from this vengeful, factional CM.
