Always wondered what happened to this advert . The only bit of skill I ever did 9 seconds in. When the Prem was proper ❤️
Let's enjoy this Lucozade commercial from 1995.
I don't know what's in the can but I know the advert itself is crammed with delicious Premiership action and therefore, I approve.

One of my favourite moments in footy yesterday. I lost myself for 30 seconds (in the blue top waving his hand) We just couldn’t hang on for the last few minutes. 3-3 still in the draw FA Cup 2-0 down as well.

Big day tomorrow, you’ve got to love the FA Cup ❤️
From winning the FA Cup with @arsenal to managing in the fourth round qualifying 🤝
@leatherheadfc manager Ian Selley has guided The Tanners to a fourth round qualifying tie against Yeovil Town following a strong run in the 2026-27 #EmiratesFACup so far.
Selley will be looking back at his own personal success in the cup to help his players having been part of the Arsenal squad that won the FA Cup in May 1993. 🏆
ALT Headline at the top reads “Former FA Cup winner managing in the Fourth Qualifying Round.” On the right, Leatherhead manager Ian Selley as he shouts instructions. On the left, a circular inset shows a younger Selley in a red and white Arsenal kit from his playing days.
ALT Two-panel then-and-now graphic. The top panel, labelled “1993” with the Arsenal crest, shows an Arsenal team photo with a young Ian Selley highlighted in a circle. The bottom panel, labelled “2026” with the Leatherhead crest shows Selley today as Leatherhead manager.

Nineteen when Arsenal won in Europe, 1994.
Twenty when the leg broke, got infected, and the doctors talked about amputation.
52 now: title-winning manager, his own academy, commentates on Arsenal.

So good to throw two lads that have been out of action for so long into the mix second half. Matty Everett and Deondre Date . Been there myself and it’s a tough tough journey. Great to have you back in chaps 💚 Both excellent 👌 @LeatherheadFC
