Landon DuPont is in a tier of his own heading into the 2027 NHL Draft. DuPont just played his first two NCAA games last weekend, and you would think he is a vet in the league, lots of players come into the NCAA and struggle with the pace and physicality of the game, he did not. He put up two points in his first game, controlled the powerplay, and was phenomenal defensively in all 3 zones. Gavin McKenna is going to be an elite offensive creator in his career, the skill is there, but i thought he should’ve stayed in the NCAA another year, he REALLY struggled with the pace and physicality for majority of the season, did get better but never really stopped struggling, his last games in the playoffs were some of his worst of the year.
